Every portrait begins in your hands. Following The Index, our guided protocol, you spend five minutes with your watch in natural light. Those pixels hold the truth of the piece: its proportions, its color, every mark the decades have written on it. Everything we compose is drawn from them.
We study your photographs the way a watchmaker studies a movement under the loupe. Every angle, edge and surface is described and understood before a single creative decision is made.
Angle by angle, each view of your watch is composed with absolute respect for the source: its dimensions, its colorimetry, the exact warmth of the metal where the light falls. Then comes the phase that defines us. Each portrait is examined against your photographs with one question: is this the piece? A rehaut that lost definition, a bezel edge shifted by a fraction, a dial that smoothed where it should show grain: we look for these as if our name depended on it, because it does. A portrait leaves this phase only when the answer is yes.
The book arrives by email, with a private folder for the files. You compare it to the watch in your hand, under real light. You are the final authority.

Some pieces ask for more cycles of review: visible mechanical complexity, hand finishing, or the delicacy of conservation. For these, timeframes extend: Cadran within 48 hours, Référence within 4 days, Calibre within 5 days, and its film and private page within 9.
