Every portrait must be a faithful, verifiable representation of the actual piece. In a market built on trust, authenticity is where everything begins. Our craft is contemporary. Our standard is the oldest one there is: the piece, exactly as it is.
The watch itself remains untouched; what changes is the way the world sees it. The direction of the brushing on a bracelet, the patina a dial has gathered over decades, the engraving on a caseback its owner stopped noticing years ago: each is kept as time left it.
We are selective by choice. When we accept a project, it is because we can give your piece the full dedication it commands. On screen or on the wall, the work is complete the moment you are moved by it, and not a moment before. That is the law of this house.
In haute horlogerie, every detail carries weight. The angle of an applied index. The depth of a guilloché. The light along a single bevel. Nothing is approximate. Nothing is left to chance.

Alpha Centauro was founded on a single conviction: that the portrait of a watch must honor the same standards as the watch itself. A firm devoted entirely to fine mechanical watchmaking, with the precision, the discipline and the obsession with detail this world demands.
Every piece and every project entrusted to me is an honor I answer for.
Before anything else, I am an entrepreneur, and to me every venture begins as an adventure. A challenge has always been the invitation I accept most gladly. I trained as a designer, and after graduating I spent a couple of years studying the visual arts. My path has also run through conventional careers and a business education shaped by the online world, but that is a story for another time. Here, I would like to tell you why I have chosen to devote my time to building this.
Perhaps it began before me: my great-grandfather, on my mother's side, repaired mechanical watches. What holds me, though, is something larger. As I perceive it, mechanical watchmaking is where the worlds that move me most deeply meet: art, design, and the creative power of the human spirit. From the very beginning, it has been a quest to measure time, carried forward by craftsmanship, by the hours poured into every piece, by a precision that demands everything. I see it as nothing less than a divine feat.
To be trusted with such a piece is a privilege, and I meet it with work as exacting as the hands that made it. To all who have placed their trust in Alpha Centauro, and to those who one day will, my gratitude lives in every detail.
Mechanical watchmaking is one of the last disciplines where human hands still set the standard. We exist so that what arrives on the screen honors what rests in the hand. It is the conviction this house was built on.
