Before anything else, I am an entrepreneur, and to me every venture begins as an adventure. A challenge has always been the invitation I accept most gladly. I trained as a designer, and after graduating I spent a couple of years studying the visual arts. My path has also run through conventional careers and a business education shaped by the online world, but that is a story for another time. Here, I would like to tell you why I have chosen to devote my time to building this.
Perhaps it began before me: my great-grandfather, on my mother's side, repaired mechanical watches. What holds me, though, is something larger. As I perceive it, mechanical watchmaking is where the worlds that move me most deeply meet: art, design, and the creative power of the human spirit. From the very beginning, it has been a quest to measure time, carried forward by craftsmanship, by the hours poured into every piece, by a precision that demands everything. I see it as nothing less than a divine feat.
To be trusted with such a piece is a privilege, and I meet it with work as exacting as the hands that made it. To all who have placed their trust in Alpha Centauro, and to those who one day will, my gratitude lives in every detail.
